Your Child's First Visit
The first dental visit is an opportunity to meet our young patients and introduce them to the dental office in a non-threatening and friendly manner. If your child is anxious about visiting the dentist, we recommend you bring a comfort item such as their favorite stuffed animal or their favorite blanket.
During the first visit, Dr. Roshan’s main goal is to build a relationship with your child. He will gently check the existing teeth for decay and evaluate the gums, oral tissues, bite, and jaw to rule out potential problems.
Dr. Roshan will create a customized treatment plan outlining any immediate dental care needs and preventive procedures required to keep your child's smile in tip-top shape. This first visit is an excellent opportunity to go over oral care basics and answer your questions.
