Meet the Team

Dr. Roshan Patel grew up in Central Florida and earned his dental degree from the University of Florida: College of Dentistry. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program from the University of North Carolina: Chapel Hill and the Salisbury VA Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Roshan enjoys volunteer work and giving back to those in need. During his training, he had the opportunity to treat underserved patients on a mission trip to Ecuador. He has routinely provided free dental services through a mobile dental clinic in Jacksonville, FL. In the years 2015-2017, he was also voted as a "Top Dentist in Jacksonville" by Jacksonville Magazine.

After practicing for several years as a general dentist, he followed his passion for pediatrics and completed a post-graduate residency program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. He maintains his hospital privileges here in Texas and routinely provides dental treatment for children under general anesthesia.

During his pediatric residency, Dr. Roshan received the Graduate Student Research Award by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for his collaborative research investigating the minimization of retreatment of primary molars under general anesthesia, which has since been published by the AAPD in a national research journal. Dr. Roshan maintains his scholarly activities and is a contributing author to the “Handbook of Clinical Techniques in Pediatric Dentistry”, 2nd ed.

Dr. Roshan is proud to call Texas his home. In his free time, Dr. Roshan enjoys reading, exercising outdoors, trying new fun flavors of ice cream, spending time with his family, and cheering on the Florida Gators!
